Fear the Turtle – ACC Championship Edition

I said on Friday that I couldn’t remember the last time my beloved Maryland Terrapins won the ACC lacrosse championship.

I can now say that I can.

This afternoon at Koskinen Stadium on the campus of Duke University, the Terps beat Duke 11 – 9. That is an ACC Championship victory on Duke’s home field.

Sweet.

The Terps are off until May 7th, when they face Colgate at Byrd Stadium. After that, it is the NCAA tournament.
