You Have To Be Educated To Be This Stupid. A Continuing Series.

Caitlin Miller is a five year old in kindergarten who was suspended for one day at her school.

Her crime?

We’ll let WJBF.com explain:

HOKE COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) – A mother is outraged after her 5-year-old daughter was suspended from school because of a stick that resembled a gun.

Caitlin Miller returned to school Tuesday after her one-day suspension.

It started Friday when her mother got a call from the principal about a playground incident. Caitlin explained that she and her two friends were using their imaginations, playing “King and Queen.”

In this case, Caitlin says she was the guard protecting the royals and picked up the gun to imitate shooting an intruder into the kingdom.

Hoke County Schools said Caitlin posed a threat to other students when she made a shooting motion.

A threat?

A threat of what? Spinters? Dirt on the girl’s hand?

Every day we hear and see stories and advertisements of the importance of letting kids dream and encouraging their imagination. A 5 year old imagines in a game that she is protecting her king and queen from evil and she is suspended? Anyone but us see the hypocrisy there?

The School District spokesperson doubled down on the stupidity:

Rape In Montgomery County Leaves Questions And Few Answers. – UPDATE!

The other day we told you about an horrific attack / rape at Rockville High School in Montgomery County, Maryland.

While some have used the case to attack all illegal immigrants, we believe that is misplaced. It is wrong to say the actions of a few taint everyone within a group of people. In this instance, it is wrong to cast all immigrants as violent criminals because of the alleged actions of these two people just as it is wrong to say that all white, ex-military men are murders and racists as in the case of this horrible individual:

A white man from Maryland who told police he traveled to New York to kill black men turned himself in on Wednesday, about 24 hours after he fatally stabbed a man he encountered on the street, officials said.

[…]

New York police said they charged James Harris Jackson, 28, with murder. Police said Jackson encountered 66-year-old Timothy Caughman shortly after 11 p.m. on Monday and stabbed him multiple times. Caughman went to a police precinct for help and was brought to Bellevue Hospital, where he died, police said.

[…]

Police gave few details of Jackson’s background on Wednesday, identifying him only as a Baltimore resident and military veteran. Jackson was in the Army for more than three years, deploying to Afghanistan between December 2010 and November 2011, according to Lt. Col. Jennifer Johnson, an Army spokesperson. His service record did not include any badges reflecting combat interaction with any enemy during that time. Jackson served as a military intelligence analyst and left the service in August 2012 with the rank of specialist.

To us, what the Rockville High case highlighted was the complete failure of the immigration system in the country. As more and more light has begun to shine upon the the two men and their immigration status, more and more we see the utter and total failure of the system.

Medal of Honor Recipient Sergeant Gary B. Beikirch.

As we noted yesterday, President Trump revived the tradition of honoring Medal of Honor recipients on March 25.

Via This Ain’t Hell (But You Can See It From Here,) comes a speech given at Medal of Honor Days down in Gainesvlle, Texas by Medal of Honor recipient Sergeant Gary B. Beikirch.

Beikirch’s citation for his Medal of Honor reads:

For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty. Sgt. Beikirch, medical aidman, Detachment B-24, Company B, distinguished himself during the defense of Camp Dak Seang. The allied defenders suffered a number of casualties as a result of an intense, devastating attack launched by the enemy from well-concealed positions surrounding the camp. Sgt. Beikirch, with complete disregard for his personal safety, moved unhesitatingly through the withering enemy fire to his fallen comrades, applied first aid to their wounds and assisted them to the medical aid station. When informed that a seriously injured American officer was lying in an exposed position, Sgt. Beikirch ran immediately through the hail of fire. Although he was wounded seriously by fragments from an exploding enemy mortar shell, Sgt. Beikirch carried the officer to a medical aid station. Ignoring his own serious injuries, Sgt. Beikirch left the relative safety of the medical bunker to search for and evacuate other men who had been injured. He was again wounded as he dragged a critically injured Vietnamese soldier to the medical bunker while simultaneously applying mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to sustain his life. Sgt. Beikirch again refused treatment and continued his search for other casualties until he collapsed. Only then did he permit himself to be treated. Sgt. Beikirch’s complete devotion to the welfare of his comrades, at the risk of his life are in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflect great credit on him, his unit, and the U.S. Army.

The speech he gave is somewhat long (28 minutes) but we highly suggest that you watch it.

National Medal Of Honor Day.

President Donald Trump issued a proclamation on March 25th designating the day as “National Medal of Honor Day.”

WASHINGTON — President Trump hosted the nation’s most decorated war heroes at the White House Friday as part of a recognition of the rarely celebrated Medal of Honor Day.

“Each of you has risen above and beyond the call of duty in defense of our country, our people, and our flag. You have poured out your hearts, your sweat, and your tears like few others, and your blood — most importantly your blood — for the United States of America,” Trump told about 25 Medal of Honor recipients in the Oval Office.

In 1990, the US Congress passed a resolution denoting March 25, 1991 as “National Medal of Honor Day.” The resolution was supposed to be renewed each year but that did not occur. Now Trump has made it a part of his time in office.

Skim Milk In Florida Is Now Skim Milk.

Milk-ROH Almost a year ago, we wrote about the curious case of a Florida creamery (dairy) who was barred by the state of Florida from calling its skim milk, “skim milk.”

The Ocheesee Creamery is a dairy who believes in all natural products. The dairy ran into trouble when they went to sell their all natural, nothing added skim milk.

Skim milk is made by “skimming” the cream off of whole milk. Long before there was anything like the Food and Drug Administration or the Florida Department of Agriculture, that is the way skim milk was made. However, the cream from the milk contains oil soluble vitamin A. Because of that, the Florida Department of Agriculture followed the rules of the FDA and said that if you want to sell “skim milk,” you have to add vitamin A back into the milk.

Ocheesee Creamery, being a “natural dairy,” didn’t want to add anything to their milk. They felt the milk should be able to be sold.

After selling the natural skim milk within the borders of Florida for 3 years, in 2010 the company received an order from the Florida Department of Agriculture to either add vitamin A to the milk or stop selling the milk altogether. After some negotiations, the Florida Department of Agriculture said the creamery could sell the natural skim milk if the company labeled it as an “imitation milk product.”

(Think about that for a moment. The state demanded that the creamery call natural milk with nothing added an “imitation milk product.”

The creamery proposed to label the skim milk in one of five ways:

(1) PASTEURIZED SKIM MILK, NO VITAMIN A ADDED;
(2) PASTEURIZED SKIM MILK, NO LOST VITAMIN A REPLACED;
(3) PASTEURIZED SKIM MILK, MOST VITAMIN A REMOVED BY SKIMMING CREAM FROM MILK;
(4) NON-GRADE A SKIM MILK, SOME MILK VITAMINS REDUCED BY SKIMMING CREAM FROM ALL NATURAL PASTEURIZED MILK
(5) THE STATE REQUIRES US TO CALL THIS: NON-GRADE A MILK PRODUCT, NATURAL MILK VITAMINS REMOVED.
IT IS ALL-NATURAL SKIM MILK WITH SOME VITAMIN A REMOVED BY SKIMMING CREAM FROM MILK.

The State rejected those labels and counter proposed the label:

Nebraska Democrats Welcome Refugees With Voter Registration Forms.

Via the Conservative Review comes this tidbit and video of Nebraska Democratic Party Chair Jane Kleeb describing a “welcome basket” the Democrats had been assembling to give to refugees that come into the state.

There are a couple things to note.

First, Kleeb says that the baskets are in response to “President Trump’s racist ban on immigration.”

We wish the Democrats would make up their minds. They have been screaming that the ban (which is only a temporary moratorium) in against Muslims. Lat time we checked, “Muslim” or “Islam” is not a race. So how is the ban “racist?” It’s almost as if Kleeb wants to keep repeating the same lie in order to create hatred toward a fantasy she and people of her ilk have created rather than reality.

Secondly, the basket contains a voter registration form.

By law, immigrants can not apply for citizenship for five years after establishing residency in the country. Non US citizens cannot vote. So why would the Democrats want registration forms in a “welcome basket?”

Rape In Montgomery County Leaves Questions And Few Answers.

Montgomery County, Maryland is dealing with the fallout from the rape of a 14 year old girl in the men’s bathroom at Rockville High School by two illegal / undocumented immigrants.

One of the two suspects accused of raping a 14-year-old student at Rockville High School was picked up by a U.S. Border Patrol agent in Texas seven months ago, determined to have illegally entered the country, and issued a notice to appear in immigration court, federal officials said Monday.

The suspect, Henry Sanchez-Milian, 18, arrived in Montgomery County around that same period, according to records filed at Montgomery County District Court. He was placed in ninth grade at Rockville High School, as was the other suspect, Jose O. Montano, 17, according to a court hearing last week.

Montano has been charged as an adult in the case.

Montano is accused of pushing the 14-year-old student into a boys’ bathroom during school hours Thursday morning and then forcing her into a stall as she tried to hold on to a sink, according to police affidavits filed in court. Inside the stall, he and Sanchez-Milian, whose name also is spelled as Sanchez in court records, took turns attacking the girl, according to court records.

Both teenagers have been charged with one count of first-degree rape and two counts of first-degree sex offense. The crimes carry possible sentences of life in prison.

How vicious was the attack?
