BREAKING NEWS: State Board Of Education Votes To Withhold Funds From Brevard Over Mask Mandate.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — On Thursday, the Florida State Board of Education met to consider disciplinary action against the 11 school districts that have mask mandates and so far has voted to withhold state funds to Orange, Brevard and Alachua county public schools equal to any amount of grants from the federal government.

There will be those who rejoice and see this as a righteous punishment for the School Board.

The problem is now “what will the schools do with a lack of funding from the state?”

The [Florida State Board of Education] indicated it would give the districts 48 hours to comply or it will start withholding funds.

It will be interesting to see whether given the talk of “protecting students” and “increasing funding for schools” if this fight with the state is hill on which the Brevard School Board wants to die.

Another clown show brought to you by left wing progressives who just want more control over people’s lives. Plain and simple, this is a medical decision and should be made by the parents and the students doctor. Florida has made this clear and every child can wear a mask if they feel it is necessary, same with the vaccines, it’s a personal decision that should be made by the individual and their doctor.

It will be interesting to watch this play out. Hopefully, they rescind their mandate quickly or we’ll all get stuck with a huge legal bill trying to defend this nonsense.
