Democrat Privilege.

Courtesy AF Branco at Comically Incorrect:

Democrats and the mainstream media were willing to throw away “due process” in order to believe all women during the Kavanaugh hearing, but have a much different attitude regarding the Fairfax accusations.

The Democrats have also hoped the allegations of domestic abuse against Minnesota Democrat Representative Keith Ellison would go away, but they are not.

The Democrats have a real issue with their attacks against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh by a woman “must be believed” and then saying in Virginia and Minnesota, “nothing to see here, move along…” and basically accuse the alleged victims of lying without any investigation.

However, to be fair, both parties play the same game. When it is the “other party,” you attack. When it is “your party,” you defend, hide and obfuscate.

That attitude does not serve the accusers or those being accused well at all. It does not serve the country well.

Accusers have the right to have their accusations heard. The accused have the right to have the claims investigated and dismissed if found not credible.

That is something that we all should want and agree upon. You never know when your son, daughter, wife, husband, boyfriend, girlfriend, significant other, etc., is either going to claim to be a victim or to be accused of a crime. We should all want the claims and the evidence evaluated fairly.

Instead, now even situations like Kavanaugh, Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax, and Representative Ellison are used as clubs and weapons. They are used to make political points rather than address the real issue.

That’s not right and it needs to stop.
